With lots of exciting new things coming on board for 2012 we hope you will continue to enjoy our products and services over the next twelve months.We are committed to listening, consulting and innovating to produce streamlined management solutions for the childcare sector at all levels. So, keep letting us know how you’re doing and how we can continue to update and enhance your business with FirstSteps.Here’s just a sample of things we have worked on in the last year for your benefit and that you might be thinking about for this year. 

Version 12 for 2012 Yes we are busy rolling this out and the verdict so far is ‘Fantastic’. It has brand new visuals and a simplified navigation system to name but a few of its major facelift benefits.For maintained customers it’s completely free, but please ask about transferring even if you are not. 

Funding Yes we can accommodate 3 and 2 year old funding requirements so please let us know if you are struggling with weird and wonderful instructions. We have liaised with many authorities on this subject to ensure we get it right for you. Once we’ve set it up for you it’s easy to administer.

FirstPay Direct In recent months the need for good cash flow has been imperative to sustain operations for most businesses, especially childcare. Why not ask us about our direct debit fee collection for this year? It gives you peace of mind and reduces time wasted chasing money.

Customer Service Our support commitment continues to improve and provide you with faster and more adaptable responses to queries. Calls can be taken from 8am to 6pm with emergency service available for bank holidays.A huge percentage of our new business is gained from recommendations by existing customers and that is a testament to the service we provide and promise to continue.

A final note to say thank you to loyal customers old and new (this will be our 18th year!) and hope everyone can continue to grow and have major success in 2012.

Once again our fantastic development team has gone that extra mile to improve and enhance the look and functionality within FirstSteps and we are proud to announce the imminent launch of Version 12.

Yes it’s on its way and we’re very excited about it!

Packed with fresh visuals and a new user interface enabling more customisation you can now have all your favourite reports held in one place.

We’ve streamlined the navigation to make it even easier to use and created new enquiry and waiting list functionality for you.

Most of our development has been as a result of you letting us know how we can make life easier for you so thank you for your continued support and watch this space for more news on Version 12.

Extended telephone support service

Great news for new and existing customers! We have extended our telephone support service opening hours for you and are now available from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday.

Having monitored our support line usage for some time we decided to run a pilot scheme with new opening and closing times. It proved 100% successful so we have made our changes permanent.

Our new extended service accommodates you early starters and late finishers within nurseries and also prevents a bottle neck of calls at peak times.

We hope you will all benefit from this enhanced service and welcome your feedback.
